Some specific ways you can help Border Partners improve life in impoverished communities:
- Make a contribution. Use our secure online Paypal donation service to donate right now:

$30 will buy a 100 pound bag of beans to supplement the government’s school lunch subsidy
$35 will upgrade one computer for an elementary school or the town library
$50 will provide a year-round vegetable garden at a family’s home
$75 will pay for 15 aerobics classes for adults
$100 will purchase 20 new child safe swings
$250 will provide a refurbished computer with Pentium 4 processor.

- Support a project. Browse opportunities we have ready to implement, just waiting for funding. You could supply computers, feed hungry school children or sponsor anything from a garden…to a solar cooker…to an adult learning center. Look through proposals ready to implement on the respected Universal Giving website.

Volunteer your time.
Here are some current opportunities:
- Plan a fundraiser for Border Partners
- Ship boxes for the womens oilcloth coop (must live in Columbus/Deming, NM area)
- Teach the oilcloth coordinator to use Quicken
- Share your expertise on WordPress websites by offering advice to our volunteer webmaster.

- Computers – able to connect to the internet
- Construction and woodworking supplies
- Gardening equipment and tools
- Library books in Spanish – Used books are acceptable.
- School supplies (markers, crayons, paper, pencils, notebooks etc.)
